WHERE LIVING AND
LEARNING CONNECT
The Reach is an emerging, urban community on the campus of Thompson Rivers University
This 90-acre, multi-phased, generational project is strategically rooted into the campus’s 250 acres of view property located just outside of downtown Kamloops and is surrounded by well-established residential neighbourhoods, an 800 hectare municipal park, and a growing commercial district.
For almost 50 years, the TRU campus has grown and evolved into the world-class place of learning and living that it is today. Set high on a plateau, the university’s campus has room to reach beyond its core purpose – to support the development of a new urban destination where living seamlessly connects with learning.
Residents, students and faculty enjoy the natural setting of the campus with panoramic vistas, mountains, rivers and lakes. Many of the indigenous grasses and other natural plant species on campus are used for research and horticulture training.
The Reach is inclusive and encourages diversity for academics, residents and investors.
